I suppose if you dropped the unit while in this protective skin and it didn't land face down it would protect the unit from scratches but otherwise I think it's useless. You can't use the buttons very well and since it doesn't protect the screen what's the point.
Also the skin I received is black and doesn't cover ANY part of the face. Comes up only to midway on the sides. Doesn't look much like the picture here.

Wish I had the skin befeore I dropped my UPRO. All buttons are fully accessible through the skin.

I have read reviews on this product and the only thing that was negitive was the charging plug . I have not found this to be that much of A problem the more that I use it the easier it is to open . the charger has to be in perfict alinement though or it will not plug in and you have push very firm to plug it in . but over all it works very well. I have used it in all kinds of weather including snow fluries.

I use this every time I go golf because it lets me know the yardage to the green and pin and shows me what the hazards I will encounter. The only problems is getting it to work at first.

So easy on/off...I just do what is necessary as dictated by mother nature. If you have a uPro GO this is a must to keep in your bag. It helps to protect the device from a caddie banging it around a bit as well.
