I've had my upro for two seasons now,and the belt clip has worked well. I find when I put the upro in my pocket it gets stuck sometimes, especially with the protective rubber cover. And of course there are tons of other items in my pockets - tees, ball markers, balls, etc.
But with the belt clip I'm able to keep it on my belt and get to it in a hurry.
I am on my second one now, though. A few weeks back I was wearing mine when I got into my car and it snapped. I've done that to cell phone belt clips too, blame my fat belly more than flimsiness of the device...

I have had other GPS systems and their belt clips were not nearly as good as this model. The best by far.

Although the construction of the clip could be a little thicker and less fragile. the belt clip is slinder and does not get in the way of my swing of otherwise even lets me know that it is there. I have also found that I use it as a secondary device. I also have the clip that attaches to the golf cart. When I am away from the cart (cart path only holes, etc) - the belt clip comes in very handy to store my upro while I take the shot and walk about.

The belt clip is functional and a nice addition to the accessory line.
Unfortunately mine came apart on the course and caused my uPRO to end up near the cart path 500 yards from where I discovered it missing. Had I been in the rough or almost anywhere else I would have never found the uPRO.
Price has now been cut in half. I will not buy another one.

Rugged, secure, but style/way it's made make it tedious/annoying to detach and reattach (unlike other makers)for use.

After use of clip for about six rounds, pivot point came apart and couldn't be reattached. The point is tiny and weak and should be redesigned for strength or taken off the market.
