Rated 1 out of 5 by NOT WORTH THE MONEY USE ON A BREEZY (NOT QUIET) DAY. HAS A VERY DIFFICULT TIME PICKING UP THE FLAG WHEN IT IS LIMP WITH NO BREEZE. ALSO HAS A VERY HARD TIME LOCKING ON FLAG IF TREES ARE IN THE BACKGROUD. EXTREMLY HARD ON BATTERIES - 5 TO 10 ROUNDS OF GOLF AND THEN IT NEEDS A NEW BATTERY. WILL JUST STOP WORKING IN THE MIDDLE OF A ROUND - HAVE TO REMOVE BATTEY AND REINSERT - THEN IT COMES ON A WILL WORK - NEVER KNOW WHEN IT IS GOING TO WORK FOR SURE OR NOT FOR SURE. SURPRISED CALLAWAY WILL PUT THEIR NAME ON THIS PRODUCT. May 22, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Rangefinder I have to disagree with the comment above as this rangefinder gives me accurate measurements on everything that I laser. When I first bought it, I was in the middle of winter and there I was out in the street using it on stop signs, trees, light poles, mailboxes, etc. Anything you could laser I just about did during the winter. Great product. May 29, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Good on flags, bad on everything else This works great on flags and gives quick and accurate readings. I have a horrible time getting readings off anything other than a flag though. If you want to get a distance to the giant oak tree on the corner of that long par 5, this doesn't cut it. Or if you want a distance while the group in front has the flag down, it just doesn't work. Other rangefinders I've used work flawlessly on large trees and people on greens -- not this one. Rated 1 out of 5 by NOT!!!! Battery will go about 5 rounds - sometime it will come on and sometime it will not - if not - you have to unscrew the battery cover and re-screw and unit will come on - very difficutl if possible to lock in on flag if there are any trees behind the green. I am surpirsed Callaway will put their name on this product. Have had it five months and already been to the factory and needs to go back again due to battery drain. May 26, 2012
