Callaway hit the nail on the head with this iron. The iron as a thin sole and top line that mid-low handicap players enjoy, but also has the forgiveness of a game improvement iron. The stock Project X Flighted is a great stock option. Again, Callaway's X Hot line will surprise many people, even if they have never played Callaway before. Tried them when they came out, and loved them so much I ordered them today!

Tried these at Golf Galaxy and was completely surprised. I have never been a big fan of Calloway until now. I have been wanting a new set of irons this Spring and I think I have found them. Approaching age 50 and still have a low hdcp, the lighter weight shaft felt terrific.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kup Best set I have owned!!!!
I have played many products over the years from all the major manufacturers. This is by far the best set of clubs I have owned. I hit the ball further, straighter and more more consistently.

Rated 5 out of 5 by subby44 WOW!!! What a set of Irons...Best bang for the buck!!
Ok, I went to a Demo day in Fla. I got to spend a lot of time on the range with these clubs. I got to try multiple shafts in them so i could kill my interest in the different options that Callaway offers. I setteled on the px95 6.0 I understand the clubs are strong... however, as a guy who used to hit 7i 150ish.. I hit about 25 balls about 168. with these new babies. I know the stronger loft will give me a few yards of distance.. however that is booming it for me. i really liked the feel of the clubs the most. At the demo day, I hit the x forged and for the money i could not tell a difference in them. I play at a 5 hc. I got the clubs for 720.00 built to my specs delivered to my house... I was pleased with that. I rec. the clubs yesterday and went to my home course and from 167 yds. to the pin. stuck three in a row within 10 ft.. yes, I smiled... my wife thinks i have lock jaw... lol...It was nice to be able to compare the competiton to thses sticks. I tried Mizzy, rocket bldz,& ping i20.. I am not knocking the other three, I am saying that for the price and performance of the Callaway x hot pro irons... I am really Happy... hope this helps..

Tried these clubs at the pro shop last week. I own the x24 hot Irons and they are great. I told my pro I wanted something with a little more feel. He gave me the new pro version. I asked if they were forged, he said no but take a whack. The have a very soft forge like feel. Very. The sound though is what really gave me the fever. The sound on these are in the top 1 percentile if I do say so myself. Absolutely great whipping sound. The ball flight for me was medium high. Really felt I could hit high or low with simple position adjustment. My only concern was as a guy who tends to miss right, I found the extra grooves really enhanced my missed shots. They all got out there, but the extra spin was noticeable on off shots. I can probably attribute that to testing a standard 6 as I use a few degrees up +1ish and I probably should have played the six more like a five, due to the extra 3-4 degrees in strength on the face. I am really looking forward to going back and trying this club in a more upright lie. I really believe my draw will enhance alot more with a proper stick and that's where id like to be. Shaping shots with a forgiving, long, great feeling and great sounding iron. Club head is very solid yet soft feeling and forgiving. More grooves and a smaller head give the player factor when you want it. Fantastic stick!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Venki Wow factor!
I was a hardcore taylormade fan before. I was using Taylormade 2.0 Burner irons with Graphite and Regular shaft. Last 2 years my swing speed imporved little but by irons short going oppostie direction. Longer irons are going flat and unable to control. The short irons are uncontrollable. So I tried several irons last 2 months and finally found this X Hot pro irons. I had a great feeling about the Project X shaft while I was trying infornt of range simulation. Immediately purchased it.
I took it to 2 rounds and 5 times in the range. Here are my feedback.
1. Project x 95 Flight shafts 6.0 are lighter and feels good.
2. The iorns AW, PW, 9,8 and 7 is shooting perfectly without changing any swing style. Amazed. very consistence. I can able to back spin also at the green. It was thrilling.
3. For long irons 4,5 and 6, if you hit it in sweet sport then it is keep going. I need to have little pratice to identify distance for those irons.
4. The stainsteel head is looking very nice.
I am confident this season is going to be good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RMN22AJR X Hot Pro's are best Callaway Irons I have ever owned.
I have been very loyal to Callaway irons over the past decade X-20 Tours, X-22 Tours, Razr X Tours and now the best yet X Hot Pros. I was very concerned switching to the new Project X 95 shaft vs. my typical DG S-300 shafts - all I can say is the new shaft / club head design is spot on. I love the feel and feedback from these irons - if you like your Razr X Tours - you will love the new X Hot Pro's. Finally, if you play a DG S-300 shaft order the Project X 95 - 6.0 shaft - they are not harsh at all - great dispersion / very predictable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Melonhead Great eye appeal and feel. Awesome value and playability
Wow..! What a great set of irons. Have played many different sets of callaways over the years but these are the best. Played X Forged for a good while, but due to a bad back had to stop playing them due to some loss of distance and harshness of the Project X shaft(which I loved). These were just what I needed.!! The extra distance and the lighter weight Project X shafts are perfect. Deadly accurate. Buy them.... :) BTW..I was fitted and these were the ones. Get fitted.! See my handicap going back down real soon.
