I expected this hybrid to be more or less like other hybrids, okay distance, accuracy, etc. I hit this hybrid at a large retail golf store and ordered a X-Hot Pro 18 on line due to the overall feel and it was very pleasing to the eye at address. After a few swings on the driving range I took it to the course for the first time and wow the distance was more than I could hope for. You can or I can hit high and low draws and straight shots all day long. If you are looking for a all around club to replace a 2 iron 5 wood range then I have to recommend this club. This is a well built, accurate, distance monster.

I hit this club at Edwin Watts and have never hit a club so well in my life. I was hitting the 20-degree/Stiff "Pro" hybrid almost 25-30 yards longer than my other hybrid.....and this is no exaggeration. I thought I was hitting it so well because I was hitting off the matt in the store. Well, I hit it just as well on the course, often reaching 225-235 yards......and straight down the middle. I am a 9 handicap player so I'm sure more talented players will hit the ball even further with this club. Seriously, this club is just phenomenal. I decided to get the 23-degree X Hot Pro because the 20-degree hits the ball too far for my needs. The 23-degree hits exactly like the 20-degree hybrid, not as far but every bit as straight. You won't go wrong with this club.

I have tried EVERY Hybrid on the market [except the X Hot - regular] and I can say with NO DOUBTS that the Callaway X Hot PRO is the best in distance, feel and accuracy. No other Hybrid including the very costly Adams XTD can compare "shot for shot"with the X Hot PRO.

I am 61 and generally shoot in the low to mid 90's. I just bought an X Hot 4 hybrid, senior flex to replace my old 4 hybrid. With my old club I had problems getting the ball up into the air. Today, I used the x hot for just the second time on a course. I hit 150-160 yards (about 20 yards further than with my old hybrid.). Just as importantly, I hit almost every shot more or less where I was aiming and the ball was extremely easy to get up into the air. Using the 4 hybrid on almost all long shots, I was able to shoot an 85 (my second best round ever). I did not feel the need to use my woods as the 4 hybrid gave me about as much distance with much more accuracy.

From the first time I hit this club as a demo it had "the best" written all over it. I have had them all, Taylor, Adams, Ping, etc. This is the best hybrid I have ever hit. Coupled with the Project X graphite shaft it flies straight and true. It bores through the wind. I was skeptical myself, and wasn't looking for a new hybrid. Now I have another on order.
