Coming from another brands 3 wood that I hit very well I was a little skeptical about how much this club could improve my already great 3 wood in my bag. Well after several range sessions with this club I am thoroughly impressed! What I noticed most was the ease of usage off of the deck. Another thing I noticed was how well the club reacted to mishits, almost as if they did not occur. Being a player that utilizes my 3 wood off of the tee about 50% of the time this is one factor that is very important to me. I hit the ball very high so the one issue I have with this club is off the tee, even when teed up very low like an iron. I really want to try the 3deep next as well as the 13.5 and see how well I hit those off of the fairway and tee. I may even try some different shaft combinations as well even though off of the deck the 15 degree with the pxv 6.5 shaft is awesome.

I am excited to report that the new XHot Pro 3 wood is definitely long. i traded my Razr Fit 15 degree for the XHot Pro and gained a good 20 yard but whats important is that itwas so straight and i could hit it high low and work it left or right. It sure is a good fairway wood.

I have been demoing the X-Hot Pro 3 wood for a about a week and was so happy, I bought the demo! I have 8 3-woods in my closet I just cannot hit, but the day I started using this thing, I was getting great results off the tee and off the fairway! I did not have to settle for one or the other. The best part about it is that the ball goes straight as an arrow with ease! After my first day of playing around with it, I put it in my bag for my first round at Pebble Beach because I was so confident with it. I only used my driver on 5 of the 14 driving holes so I needed something to get me in play and in position. This club did the job! A nice smooth swing gives me about 260ish and if I go after it I can get 275 - this gets me the distance but keeps me out of trouble too :). Since I like this so much, I just started to demo the hybrid as well and I am getting similar results. I am not getting much more distance than my current one, but I am finding it straighter! I might be adding that one too! I am very curious to see if a different shaft combo might even give more distance, but at the same time, do not really need a 300 yard 3-wood because I hit my driver 300+ and pretty straight. The distance I am looking for is that 260-275 club and this one fits that bill spot on. I am blown away by this club! Everything Phil has said, even kissing his driver, applies to this club and the direction Callaway is headed with it.

I had Taylordmade R11 3 wood for the last 2 seasons and I did not like it because it goes very low lunch and if i adjust high launch then it is ballooning. Now past 2 months I have tested/Tried at Golf Galaxy and PGA superstore both RBZ Stage 2 and Callaway 3 wood side by side. I hit 10 balls each for several times. Result of that I found, I was making solid contact almost 90% times with Callaway and only 50% of time with Taylormade. Some reason the TM club struck at the mat. So without thinking, I have purchased Callaway 3 wood Pro, 13.5.
I took this club to range few times and couple of 18 hole round. Here are my feed back…..
1. The Project X Shaft is very light and it has smooth feeling while hitting the ball, the head looks smaller compared to TM head.
2. I am very amazed with my shot and thrilled. First time in my life I continuously hitting draw using 3 wood if I keep the ball ½ inch left side more. I think this clubs is great for golfers who loves draw. I did hit straight shots also.
3. Even I have purchased the 13.5 loft, but still I can able launch the ball higher and carry. No doubt I will the ball over the water hazards without any fear in the future.
Overall I love this club at this moment.

This club is extremely easy to hit and long and straight. It also seems very durable in comparison to all other Callaway hybrids. I enjoy this club so much that I removed my 5 wood from my bag and I have never looked at it again. I am currently in process of purchasing another one.
I was a little worried about going with the pro version, but those worries are long gone. If you have a some what consistent swing, this is the club for you. I also purchase an X Hot Pro 3 wood and I almost enjoy it as much as this club.

This club certainly has lived up to my expectations. Ordered it with a V2 xstiff 77g shaft. Was hitting it plenty far. Cut it 1/4 of an inch for more control and I even gained some yards. Amazing club to have in my arsenal. When that narrow moderately long par 4 comes its my go to club. Guarantees a fairway hit every time without any loss in distance. I strongly recommend this club if you are ready to take it the next level. Extremely satisfied!!!!!

Picked up an X Hot 3 wood to go with my Driver. Like others was skeptical on the extra distance promised but after hitting it I can't say enough. Went from hitting my old Calloway 3 wood 250 yards, now up to 260-270. I have NEVER hit a 3 wood that far. And consistantley where I was aiming.
