I had a chance to demo the X Hot Pro 13.5 with a stiff project X (6.0) shaft today. I thought the club was an absolute monster off the tee, going almost as far as where I normally hit my driver. The ball went a little higher than I would have expected, but did not appear to suffer from any ballooning. I was able to hit draws and cuts.
Shots hit off the turf were more erratic, due mostly to the low loft of the club I demo'ed. I would think a 15 degree would launch the ball nicely.
The 6.0 played a little softer than I expected. The club looks to set up nice and square. The Pro version of the club has a nice clean crown, without any distracting lines. The jet black face is a nice contrast to the battleship gray crown.
I will most likely purchase this club, although I want to demo a 15 degree first. Very, very, impressed. 2 handicap, 95 mph driver SS

I have used the same Adams Tight Lies knockoff since 2000. I cannot tell you, that you will for sure hit this club further than some recent model 3 wood but, I have been hitting this 3 wood at least 20 yards farther than my previous club. It was difficult to take my old stand by club out of my bag but, now I reach for the 3 wood with total confidence. I feel like I have finally entered the "modern" age of golf technology.
Club plays well in the wind, off of hard pan, out of the rough, etc.

Just finished a round with my new xhot fairway woods! Wow! Amazing!
So easy to launch. I've bought every Callaway fairway wood for the last 7-8 years. These are the best I've ever owned!
The new warbird sole makes fairway and light rough shots a cake-walk! Never had a 3 wd that launched soooo easy. Last years razr fit fairways woods were good. This year's xhot's are just crazy!
I picked up a solid 15 yards and I anticipate even bigger gains this summer when the weather warms up and my local course dries up a bit. I teed off in 50 degree weather.
Do yourself a huge favor and demo one on the course! You won't be disappointed. Hitting one into a net at the local golf store won't do it justice!

i love this club. compared this with rbz stage 2 and it wasnt even close. i get a low penetrating ball flight and a ton of rollout. its great off the tee and tight lies

Tried the 7 wood demo from our pro shop and got a hole in one on Par 3 190yds with the first swing of the club .....enough said

I went to Golf Galaxy because I needed to get a new fairway wood, I originally selected the Taylor Made RBZ Rocketballz. I went to hit them on the simulator and the worker recommended the X Hot to me. I hit it about 15 yards longer and a lot cleaner. I chose it and it has now developed into my favorite club. It feels very clean when you hit it and it is light weight. It has a great feel while it is on the ground. I have no complaints about it!
