Product Overview

The FT-iZ Fairway Woods continue Callaway’s legacy of technology-leading fairway woods. Every shot has unprecedented feel, consistency, stability, and distance.

  • Localized Polar Weighting at the front and back of the driver for a heavy face and in-line rear power source.
  • Excess material is removed from the Chemically Milled Hyperbolic Face Cup by a chemical reduction process.
  • The progressive shape of the Aerodynamic Body Design makes this our most efficient high inertia clubhead.
  • Fusion®: Cast steel, formed aluminum, compression cured carbon fiber, and cast titanium create extreme weight placement.

Rated 5 out of 5 by 3 wood, 15 degree, regular graphic shaft. This thing is nice. Easy to hit, and I hit it straight. Usually I hit a draw but no, straight.....................and long. My other 3w I hit about 225. This one 240. Low ball flight (titleliest velocity) and how it rolls. I started picking on the other guy using a TM rocketballz 3w. Went right past him. And the callaway used site, perfect as usual. And what a deal. These were going for 129 at the golf store. I got it for just about 1/2 shipped right to my door. One tiny scratch on the underside of the head. So what. I would suggest that if you are not a monster swinger, get the reg shaft. I could see the stiff being a problem for me and most. March 12, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best fairway wood purchase ever! Bought 3 wood with standard stiff shaft and 5 wood with Matrix xcon shaft. love them both. longer than my taylormade by far. Love trajectory and predictable flight and accuracy. December 28, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Matches driver! Perfect match to the iZ driver that I love! December 28, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by FT-IZ 7w, Light Flex shaft Distance ranges from 160 (poor shoulder turn) to 200+ yds and club is very straight unless intended to be hooked/drawn or sliced/faded. Club appearance at set-up encourages good swings -- seems lighter than previous FT-7w and easier to square at impact. Playing FTiz3w+ w/ 60g S-shaft (almost as long as driver and more consistent = 195-220+ yds w/ roll) and FTiz5w (w/ 60g R-shaft =185-200 yds). Still learning to hit club longer. Driver: FTiz 9.5 w/ 60g S-shaft. Irons in bag: Fusion light flex 8,9,W,AW,& SW + LW-60X. December 7, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Bought to match my other fairway woods I already had FTiZ 5 and 3 woods. This 7 wood matches perfectly. I have replaced my previous Callaway 7 wood which was several years old. Much easier to hit. January 25, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Club Overall, I really love this club. I tend to hit it between 195-210 depending on the the surface. I'm impressed with how accurate it is and am very happy I went with this wood. Callawaypreowned was great to work with and had my "like new" wood here in just a few days. March 3, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by FT-iZ - solid and straight Diablo fairway woods shafts were not good for me. I could not get the ball up into the air. Replaced them with FTiZ 3 and 5 woods. Much better club for me. My fairway play is much improved. January 3, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by A Dud All show, limited go Disappointed. I traded in the squareway wood for the IZ What a terriicle mistake. Everything that the squareway wood was the IZ Is Not. A terrible mistake unless you can tee up every ball in the fairway. The face is Too closed and does not encorage getting the ball airborn, especially off of tight lies.profile should be lower and deeper. January 4, 2011
