FT-i Squareway Woods
- Graphite: Single $299.00
Product Overview
The most forgiving fairway woods we've created
Like the FT-i Driver did for drivers, the FT-i Squareway Woods set a new standard in fairway woods. With a moment of inertia (MOI) approaching that of our best-selling drivers, they are the most forgiving fairway woods we’ve ever created.
- Squareway Inertial Design: The Squareway Inertial Design positions discretionary weight to the extreme corners of the clubhead, raising the MOI for unparalleled resistance to twisting. The result is straighter and more forgiving shots hit over a wide area of the face.
- Fusion Technology: Multi-material construction combines a stainless steel face, sole and body with a lightweight, carbon composite crown so Callaway Golf engineers can move discretionary weight where it is needed most.
- Oversized Head Shape: Allows for a higher MOI to increase forgiveness and stability at impact for better accuracy.
- Callaway Golf Core Technologies: VFT Technology maximizes ball speed and perimeter weighting for more distance and forgiveness; S2H2 increases discretionary weight by removing it from the hosel and repositioning it in the perimeter of the clubhead.

Comments about Callaway Golf FT-i Squareway Woods:
Found it difficult to hit consistent shots from the fairway. Feeling of too much head weight makes solid contact difficult. First three wood that I have owned that launching the ball from the fairway was so difficult.

Comments about Callaway Golf FT-i Squareway Woods:
I have purchased the FT-i 3 Wood and I also have the FT-iQ Driver and I really like them both. I have changed several times looking for the driver and a 3 wood that I liked. They are both very helpful to the constant "slicer" but I don't think any one club with fix a slice by it self --- although the FT-i's have really helped me overall.

Comments about Callaway Golf FT-i Squareway Woods:
Before this club I used to consistantly slice - I got it in neutral/strengthened my grip & now rarely miss the fairway. Went from 150yd drives to 170+. I hit it all over the face of the club and the ball still goes straight and decent distance. My friends call it a vw on a stick & it sounds funny "tink" when striking the ball but I love the club!

A:
The driver will be a different material and a magnet will not stick to it. The magnet should stick to the face of the fairway wood.Answered on 12/17/2009 by Mary Cass from 800-200-4726A:
Driver contains no magnetic material (Ti and Carbon Composite)
Fairway woods contain magnetic material (Iron - Stainless Steel face and sole plate).Answered on 1/2/2010 by jd from Detroit MI
