Product Overview
Fusion Technology melds with the versatility of hybrids
The next generation of hybrids features our proprietary Fusion Technology. A stainless steel face and body combine with a tungsten-infused sole to optimize the center of gravity (CG) and increase the moment of inertia (MOI) for superior forgiveness.
- Fusion Technology: Multi-material construction enters a new phase as a stainless steel face and body combine with a tungsten-loaded sole plate that helps Callaway Golf engineers strategically place the CG for optimal ball flight trajectories and shot-shaping control.
- OptiFit System: Our proprietary OptiFit System enables golfers to customize their club to fit their individual shot shape by giving them two CG locations to choose from in most lofts: Draw for promoting a draw or reducing a slice/fade, and Neutral for maximum workability.
- Tungsten-Infused Sole Design: The sole is designed with a lower leading edge, making the sweet spot more accessible for various skill levels. The dual runner sole design ensures cleaner turf interaction for more flushed shots.
- Traditional Hosel: A new look from Callaway Golf, the stainless steel hosel creates the aesthetics and customization that appeal to a wider range of players while the use of Fusion Technology maintains the playability benefits of an S2H2 and Tru-Bore design. In addition, the hosel allows our engineers to add loft without increasing face progression for more confidence at address.
- Wood-Type Hybrid Design: The design allows for a variety of different shots from the fairway, rough or around the greens, while delivering increased forgiveness compared to long irons.

Comments about Callaway Golf FT-Hybrids (2008):
have used the #4 draw for one season.hits about my 5-iron distance, but straight. Off the tee; very good, rough;good, fairway;very good.reliable distance regardless of lie, easy to hit, great trajectory. So just bought the #3 draw, looking for more of the same, hopefully 4-iron distance to fill my gap to the 5 wood. But woods are for fairways, the 3 should get me some more distance from the rough, where, unfortunately I find myself more than occasionally

Comments about Callaway Golf FT-Hybrids (2008):
The head seems heavy and even with the high degree of loft I had no improvement from my older nine wood.
But the return service was great from Callaway and I'm sure the next club will fit in my bag.

Comments about Callaway Golf FT-Hybrids (2008):
The ball just explodes off of the face of this club. Easily more distance than the Cobra's I owned. Also very forgiving on mishits. With all the talk and reviews on your other named brand hybrids (Taylor Made, Cobra, Ping, and Adams ) this is by far the best hybrid I have ever hit.
Thank you Callaway Preowned for a great deal.

Q:
What is the difference between a nuetral and a draw hybrid?Asked on 1/28/2010 by Anonymous1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
A neutral bias club will have a centered weight, and is better for shaping the ball. A draw bias will have more weight toward the heel of the club, and will help reduce a fade/slice.Answered on 1/28/2010 by Ryan Corl from 1-800-200-4726
