Like the 40 yr old Wisconsin Cheesehead, I too am a male golfer. I just finished the last three holes of my round with the ball and went par-birdie-par. I didn't even know it was a ladie's ball at the time.
I usually play Titleist balls. This Calaway ball feels great and performed as well as my normal ball. Whether you're a male or female golfer, I recommend giving this pellet a try.

This is the best ball I have ever used. The feel is great and I got more height than I have before. The cover is very durable and so brilliant in the grass to pick up on. I would recommend these balls to any woman.

After a friend used the Solaire balls, I noticed a distinct improvement of her game. Could it actually be the ball? Well, I'm happy with my performance with the Solaire balls. I'm getting great distance and all around good feel of the ball even during putting. Love this product

I, as several of your other male reviewers, didn't know this was a Ladies ball. I recently bought a dozen at a local retail store, as I have, since the days of the Royal, liked the Hex dimple pattern, plus the price was reasonable. I just played my first round this year and was pleasantly surprised with the distance and workability of this ball. The radiesient cover, which I'm sure does not add to playability, is however very cool- they sparkle when the sun hits them. I will continue playing the Solaire, despite the targeted gender.

I pulled a couple Solaires out of my wife's bag and have had to quit laying up on long par 4's. I just bought another box of fresh ones for each of us.

This ball can be confused with a pro-v-1, it is that good, forget about being a womens golf ball--it is long, holds a green well, smooth as silk, just use it and see.---period....
