I put it on about an hour before my round to be gin warming up the elbow tendons. I keep it on throughout the round. My elbow doesn't really show any signs of healing but, wearing the brace adds support to keep it from getting worse and it keeps it from hurting during the round. Don't forget to ice that elbow after.
